Personally, some of my favorite railfanning is along our nations short line railroads... ;D Most states have one, some states more than one. They usually operate with hand-me down & antique equiptment that no one else has or wants. Old work horses from a by-gone era. This is my personal favorite.... The Meridian & Bigbee RR is one of the short line railroads near me. They are now owned by Genessie & Wyoming, Inc. www.gwrr.com/They have a small shop & a bunch of odd ball motive power. Enjoy...

A new piece of power & a caboose has shown up on the property @ Meridian, MS. The Caboose/Office Car is from the sister road L&D RR. It is being used on the road trains. Here's a shot of the L&D RR #1 before it left their property... Things just keep getting better & better.
