Here's another small layout


You can find a great article on this layout in Model Railroader Magazine, March 2005.

It is based on the Great Northern Railway in the Pacific Northwest.
Time period is the late 1950's thru the early 1960's.

Some time ago...
I was surfing the web and found this display layout...

I'm not even sure where I found it...So I really know nothing about it, or even remember where I found the photo.

But, just a few days ago...
I found a over head shot of what looks like the same layout...

You can tell a lot more detail from this view.
The layout size could be estimated from the size of the man sitting in front of it in picture #1.

Any way...
This could be a great small layout for someone to build.

If anybody knows anything about this layout, or knows where more photos are...I'd love to know..."The Rest of the Story".

Thanks for the links guys. Now, we get to "Z" scale trains. Yes, they’re even smaller than the others. Their ratio to the prototype locomotive is 1:220. Imagine that! This scale means that our 50-foot locomotive is only 2 ¾ inches long in the "Z" scale. The gauge between this model's rails is 6.5 mm.
