Do you really value authenticity?
If you have a model railroad layout or are planning to build one, which spans the era of 1940 to 1964 in central Alabama, and want to conduct operations with a high degree of authenticity regarding the subjects listed below, I would be glad to share whatever I know, much or little, about any specific railroad line. I was a telegrapher/Leverman in the early 1960's at "BT" Tower, Birmingham Terminal Station, and later between 1965 and 1990 I did occasional contract pole line work on railroad telephone, signal and power lines.
1. Authentic Main Line operation by Timetable and Train Orders, Manual Block or by CTC, 2. Depots and Interlocking Tower, 3. Bridges, Trestles and Tunnels 4. Freight train operations 5. Passenger train operations 6. Inclusion of Mining, Industrial and Commercial carload customers 7. Railroad Maintenance 8. Terminal Yard Facilities 9. City, Suburban and Rural scenery 10. Steam and /or Diesel engines
I have little access to the WWW., So, please feel free to contact me via U.S. Postal Service:
