Question:I plan on trying to make a C&O SD 18 using an Atlas SD 24 as a starting point. Emailed Atlas & asked if there RSD 5 power trucks would work with the SD 24 frame. Got a negative response. Does anybody have any other ideas.Was told I should use an SD 9 as a starting point instead of SD 24? (C&O SD 18 rode on ALCO trimount trucks from trade ins on ALCO RSD 5)
