Back in 96 I started building an n scale Carolina Central:1.I bult the table and laid the track. This was for some of my grandchildren. I stopped.
The other day for another set of grandchildred I decided to start again. I could not get power thurout the track. I was told to upgraded the track to nickel silver. I did, replacing all track. I am still having problems with the turnouts.
To test the track I run a Santa Fe engine. My biggest problem is with some of the turnouts the front of the engine goes in the direction I want, but the back of the engine takes the other route. I am using the engine alone. What must I do the correct this? There are eight turnouts on this layout. Some work some dont.
