After a short talk with Jon ( knudsen ) last night I asked if I could use the name 2Guyz for my traction layout. There will be a short section on my HO Scale Chessie System dedicated to 2Guyz. Once I get the railroad up and running I will start construction on this part. The doodlebug project is the first step towards the railroad.

Well the project is coming along at a slow pace. I have saved decals that a good friend of mine had made up for a round robin project over at 2Guyz. I am going to print these out first on just plain white paper and give you all a sample of what the logo will be like. The doodlebug is still in primer paint but other odds and ends have been done to improve this project. Instead of me having a short section dedicated to 2Guyz, I plan on make the railroad run all over the mountains and have an interchange with the Chessie System. I have yet to come up with a good track plan. I hope to have this project done by the end of summer or at least before I start school. Then I will be dedicated to school more than my trains. You can view my progress on this project on my website. www.freewebs.com/chessiesystem or go to www.freewebs.com/chessiesystem/2guyzrrmotivepower.htm There is a PRR GG-1 on lease from the PRR. It is currently out of service due to a blown traction motor. No not really but it is something to make it interesting. One of the pantagraphs have been removed and it will soley run on just one patagraph. The GG-1 will not be renumbered or relettered at all since it is on lease. The railroad is hoping in due time that they will be able to buy a GG-1 and return the currently leased one back to the PRR. This is all for right now. As this project moves on I will continue to update all of you on it. Thank You

Sounds like a great project Matt and a good way to sneak electrification into a non-electrified railroad!

On May 19th I started to take apart my Union Pacific M-32 Doodlebug. I decided it needed a new paint job so I took it completely apart. I am starting out with a primer coat. I have to touch it up in a few places but other than that it turned out great. Sitting At The Shops Freshly Painted View Of The Pantograph Top View
