I am going to build a layout that is 4`X 6` in my store. I went with HO Scale because that is what I had the tracks and structures for already. But I want any ideas or comments you guys might have, so don`t be shy! Here is the beginning;  Will post progress pictures soon. David |

I like it!!  It has lots of potential. My suggestions is use small diesels or steam locos & 40 foot or shorter cars to maximize your space. I like switchers & 4 axle geeps on smaller layouts & they look more realistic too. |

Should be a great looking layout. Look forward to seeing more pictures. I also agree with Glenn to use smaller diesels and cars as well. I prefer smaller locos myself Glenn!

Yep, I have a Bachmann spectrum 70 ton diesel and will also run a 0-6-0 both DCC.

Sounds like a great plan! You are right, not self respecting train store is without some kind of a layout! How else can you show off the new wares???
